“Snakes. Why’d it have to be snakes?” –Indiana Jones from Raiders of the Lost Ark

Ta Prohm Temple, Angkor Archaeological Park, Cambodia

I channeled my inner “Indiana Jones” at Ta Prohm Temple, which seems to be losing the battle to the ever-growing jungle.

Like Indiana Jones you can be a professor, archaeologist and adventurer at this amazing temple. There are little chambers, dark passageways and tree-covered doorways to keep you captivated for the better part of a day.

I didn’t see any snakes while wandering around the temple, but there sure were a lot of pesky mosquitoes keeping me company.

Happy Travels!
